This one speaks loud and clear.  I myself have had some interesting "adventures" in shooting with primes.

Example:  Laying in a contorted position on the floor between two exhibits in a museum, just to get the angle and composition I wanted with my A77 and 50mm F/1.4.  If I had my 35mm F/1.8 with me, the shot would have been easier to get, but I had left it at home that day.

While not great, the feel I was going for was captured, so it's a success to me.
