448€ (582$) to repair 24-70 diaphragm?
Two weeks ago I noticed that the diaphragm of my 24-70 didn't work properly anymore. It still opened and closed, but there was some friction. As a result, it didn't fully open anymore by itself, and sometimes the camera mechanism could not close it far enough. I brought the lens to the official Nikon repair service and today they sent me the information about the repair cost. The total cost would be 448 euro (582$), which seems excessive for replacing a diaphragm. Are they ripping me off?
