She HAS muscles! (gym pic)

The good news is that she is pretty and is in great shape. With
clothes on, she would look good.

The bad news is that women that have low body fat show more
wrinkles or lines since there is less fat to plump everything up.
If you look at any of the body building type of magazines, you will
see the same characteristics.

I would love to know what she will look like when she is 80 years
old. I bet she will look like she is 60 due to her discipline with
working out. (as long as she is not using any synthetic drugs to
look like that.)

Another great shot Yehuda!
Hi Dee,
Thank you for your kindness.
Unfortunately I have nothing to contribute to this topic. Sorry.

Have an excellent day, Yehuda

A serious question deserves a serious answer: Yes I do. I walk/run
on the treadmill every day 7.5 kilometers. This keeps me healthy -
this is not a joke: Yesterday I went to the doctor for a checkup.
My blood pressure was 120/80 (after years I had too high BP).
Diabetics - gone. Cholesterol - gone. Weight - normal. Add to all
this my photography experiments at the gym, and you'll see why I
love so much this place.
Yehuda, I am jealous. You are in much better shape than me and I am 38. I should start hanging out at a gym :-).

I'm with you DeeDee. I was thinking 50ish. I can't fault her appearance, though. I spend too much time on this darned computer. I should work out more.

We may never know. If Yeyuda were to ask, she may "deck" him. hehe

Let's pic a number and compare. You go first as I think mine might
be more accurate being a woman and working out at the gym where I
am headed now. =)

As far as her health, good for her, I'm overweight and out of
shape. She'll probably outlive me 2 to 1 years.

Hi Ulysses,

I have searched for an example of what you are talking about and
have had a hard time coming up with one.

Here is the Ms. Olympia 2001 and I still think her face looks a bit
more carved out. (I am not judging her - I am just stating my
opinion.
Warning this is a swim suit (on the stage picture - I don't want to
stumble anyone here.
These women use steroids. I have seen documentaries and ALL of them use steroids if they want to win. Even the ones who put down steroid use were on them by the end of the competition. There is nothing fit about a woman taking male hormones and morphing into a man.

Yehuda's woman in the gym did not appear to be on steroids, but merely fit.

I guess I am pretty naive about that stuff. Heck, I take an aspirin once a year whether I need to or not. hehe Seriously, I am not into that kind of stuff unless I really need it.

For instance, the thing about Anti-biotics is as the name says anti - life. Many people don't know that when they kill the bad cells, the anti-biotics also kill the good cells.

Now mind you many of us would not be alive today if it weren't for them. (I had a staph infection that went into my lymph system from a silly shin cut when I was out planting a flowers on my back hill and slid and hit a tree trunk.)

I do try not to take anything unless I really need it. (I do believe in epidurals for Moms delivering babies though. hehe)

Sorry for the side track. I do think these women don't look "nornal" if you will. It does look like something has been altered. For all the working out I did, I never looked close to that.

Hey there, DeeDee

The Ms. Olympia is the type of contest that I mentioned as not being representative of what most of the fit women are doing. A lot of the Ms. Olympia contestants, particularly in the heavyweight part of the competition, take muscular development to an extreme in several ways.

What I was referring to as the alternately fit form is more like what you might see in a "Fitness America" type of contest. They do plenty of lifting, too, but with much different emphasis on health and much better results (well, better for some...).

Anything taken to extremes is going to be harmful.

I actually found a couple of other pictures of her where she looks
softer like here:

http://www.frankzane.com/images/juliettelogo.jpg

She is a very pretty girl. I would love to see a picture of her
with some clothes on.

I have always been athletic and had low body fat. When I was
doing triathlons I was at about 10-12%. Average supposedly is 22%,
so I am not trying to put anyone down here. These are just my
observations. =)

I would love to see a picture like you are describing.

One more thing, when the girls are competing they are totally
pumped up. This is not their normal pose. If I were to wear a
business suit, you would not know I had big muscles, except my neck
looked a bit bigger. You would just think that I am thin looking.
(although I never developed the kind of muscles in those pictures
either).

Yehuda, I am jealous. You are in much better shape than me and I
am 38. I should start hanging out at a gym :-).
Lisa, that's a great idea. Just begin, and then you will see results. Guranteed. And take with you your camera.

Also, the gym is a great place to socialize - if you are interested.

Regards, Yehuda

The good news is, this woman is in MUCH better shape than I ever will be in, for the foreseable future :-)

The bad news is

pretty as she may be, I am not attracted to a woman of this build and physique. I make it a habit never to date women with bicepts, pects, and quads larger than mine are ;-)

I like light of the photo. Sorry, but I didn't get what "counced"
mean. Maybe The first letter "b" - or this is another word, which I don't
know?
Sorry, droog, it's my typo. Bounced - that is. Inspecting the photos, especially the portrait oriented ones of that shoot, I decided to reduce to 50% the length of the index card attached to the flash.
So, you used a flash. Can you tell me the distance to the object
and flash setup.
Here's what the EXIF data says:

F/3.5, 1/250sec., 15.5mm, ISO 100. The distance was, I thik, about 3 meters, but I might be wrong here.
Your colors and light are perfect!
I agree. The 717 does a great job.

Take care, Yuri, and have a nice day - Yehuda

A great picture! And your model looks healthy and different in a
positive way. She's nicely separated from the backround with the
lighting (doesn't seem clutterred)
Thank you, Arn.

Using a relatively wide aperture did this nice seperation.

Enjoy portraits and gym, Yehuda

I differ somewhat. I make it a habit never to date women with more than 3 tatooes or 2 piercings. Saves possible heart attack.

Have, Mark, a great day, Yehuda

That is defiinitely a case of steroids...she may have stopped them long enough before the competition to be tested negative, but women, with no supplements, are incapable of gaining that much muscle bulk naturally. Yes, some women can get quite big without drugs, but it's extremely rare. Once the face starts to look "manly" you can pretty much count on them having done some kind of steroid supplement.

There are some competitions that are strictly natural, for men and women and there is a HUGE difference in the look. These people are adamant about NOT using those type of supplements, and they look good... just not usually as big. It pays off health-wise in the long run to stay away from steroids.

Today, in most fitness contests, for example, the emphasis isn't so
much on muscle definition and bulking up as was the case with the
Ms. Olympia contests for womens' bodybuilding. In the more modern
contests, the women are allowed a higher percentage of body fat,
and they don't wrinkle up or show the sort of damage that the
"extreme" form of workouts once did.

Add to this that as muscle maturation takes place (with time and
age), a certain look is going to be achieved both by men and women.
I'm going to take a risk and venture to guess that this young lady
is probably between 45-55 years old, and that she's in better
physical shape than most of the girls Yehuda has shot in that gym
to date.

She looks good and happy, not extreme, from what I can see of her
here. And that's going to be a good thing for her 20-30 years from
now. I'm sure she would also look quite pleasant in normal clothes.
The bad news is that women that have low body fat show more
wrinkles or lines since there is less fat to plump everything up.

Here's a link to a girl who's a natural bodybuilder...maintains her feminine facial features; loses her breasts, unfortunately; and if you look REALLY hard you can see the minute traces of female body fat in those areas that are impossible to completely lose...

WARNING...bikini stuff,

Thanks for letting me get off topic!

BTW...Yehuda...your lady is lovely, thanks for showing us the muscles!!!
