If not, get the Sigma. The Rokinon is great but its strengths (good micro contrast, good corners wide open, etc.) aren't terribly useful for stills on APS-C.

Primary usage will be stills on a Canon APS sensor, though I'll likely upgrade to FF in the coming years.  I would use Live View with the Rokinon.
