D800 vs MF Film, not a standard question

As many here have stated using film is a pain.

Very fey exposures per roll. Long waits for developing the film. You need an expensive and good scanner. Constant fuss with dust and scratches. Lot's of post-processing...

BUT: The results will make you happy and be quite inspiring. IMO it just might make you a better photographer, or at least a more concious one.

If you are willing to spend lots of money and lots of time:  Do it. Enjoy it.

btw: I still use film occasionally. One of things that always hits me is the dynamic range in negatives, especially in the highlights.
