I know my suggestion defeats having such a small compact camera such as the LX7. But, I will make the suggestion anyway. I recommend using a tripod at night when the subject is not moving. You will be able to use a low ISO and a low shutter speed and based on my experience your photos will be much better than shooting the LX7 at high ISO's.  I have only one photo to share and I took the shot with my late, great and lost LX5, but the principle is the same with the LX7, use a tripod and your night shot IQ will be better than those using a high ISO.
