I suppose, being realistic, that pigment inks could show up if the Yellow, Magenta and Cyan colours were employed (or derivitives of course)?

Realistically, they will show up no more clearly on black, than dye inks would.

Some special printers used in the signage industry - for advertising hoardings, banners etc - include a white ink but I believe this is commonly a solvent- rather than water-based setup - so requires extraction and special media.
