Primes vs. Standard Zoom

I already started a similar thread in the 6D forum, but I think this topic suits here better.

When switching from APS-C to fullframe, I have to replace two out of my five lenses: my standard zoom and the wide angle zoom.

As standard zoom for the 6D the following lenses would fit:

- 24-105 4 IS L

- 24-70 4 IS L

Both are not very fast lenses but with decent optics.

For the price of the 24-70 I could also buy the following lenses:

- Sigma 35 1.4

- Canon 24 2.8 IS

I already have a 50 1.8, a 100 2.8 IS L and a 70-200 4.0 IS L, so all the relevant focal lenghts would be covered. Maybe I would add a used 28-135 IS from ebay for my wife, so she does not have to handle all the prime lenses when she needs a camera.

What do you think about this?
