GH3, use AVDHD, MP4 or MOV?

Of the three codecs mentioned, AVCHD is the best as far as quality, compression, etc. That being said, I do enjoy the .mov files generated by my OM-D, but that camera is not meant for serious video, as is the GH2/GH3.

Note: For AVCHD I use Sony SLTs (including A77) and Pany m4/3 cameras, including the GH2, and a Pany camcorder.

My experience has been that iphoto doesn't recognize AVCHD. I would say that's a problem, as I shoot a mix of still and movies and like to have one central program to organize them.
