Specs of NEX RAWs
I believe the NEX-6 used 14-bit RAW files.
You can view some attributes with most good EXIF viewers. I like:
* Exiftool and ExiftoolGUI
To view the RAW data in more detail I suggest RAWDigger:
Of course, you can always fool around with Dave Coffin's dcraw if you really want to dig down into the dirty details.

Bits Per Sample: 12
... mean that my RAWs have 12 bit color depth?
