Looks like you have no clue about current technology.

Backlitt sensors allow more light to be collected by individual photosites.

You are preaching about 2-2.4 µm sensors.

Sony RX100 has it, but it is 1' sensor. It is impossible to attach bright lens like in LX7 to it without getting a body size of APS-C DSLR.

I am telling about new 1.55 µm 1/2.3' sensor easily rivaling 1.86 µm 1/1.7' sensor that is to be found in Nikon P7700 in mid ISO range 400-800 and possibly 1600.

How bad technology can degrade IQ -

Panasonic LX7 has 2.05 µm pixel pitch and 4.2µm² pixel area

but it loses a bit in IQ to the smaller photosited 1.87 µm/3.5µm² sensor to be found in Canon G15 in both RAW and JPEG.

New Sony 1/2.3' BSI sensors I wrote about can be finally paired with super bright lenses like in LX7 (which easily rivals RX100 due to the sharp much brighter lens)

and they will deliver very similar IQ to RX100 but will be even more compact.
