I made my specific points in previous post but if house space is at a premium, in sense of wall space for hanging framed prints, why not invest in as large as possible PhotoFrame - to thus use one space to have changing series of images? One additional way to store and show images.

This makes sense, but I want a display that is at least as large as my present monitor, an NEC 2690.

I have considered replacing it and converting it to a display using one of my old computers to drive it. This monitor is nearly as large as my final prints and frankly better because it is brighter. It also has the ability to display a lot more images than I can hang.

What I see when I open the image and view it at 100% is very important to my overall attitude toward a final print. When I look at the print I know what’s there and what I had to do to get there. For me, good enough does not work.
