Isn't the canon 100 F2.8L a macro lens? If you dont mind using macro, allow me to reccomend Tamron's new 90mm macro. This one is good. In fact all amrons lenses this year is ggod.

The Sigma didn't try it but its quality from what I heard is slightly below the Canon. Just as expected. Your best bet would be to go for the Tamron if you dont mind macro. Or were you refering to Canon's 100 F2?

Sigma 85mm and Canon 100L are in the same price range which i can afford, btw how much is 100F2?

the 100 2.8L might good for Portraits works and Macros shoot. To be honest, i love portrait photography much more.

Question :

1) Sigma 85F1.4

( Pros)

- better in low light condition

- 85mm best for portrait works

- back / front focus

2) Canon 100mm F2.8L

- good for portrait as well

- another benefit can shoot Macro

- Quality control better than Sigma

- Portrait not as good as 85mm (eg : DOF, low light condition.... )

Anyone having this kind of situation before ?? Please Advice me? guide me
