E-M5 or GH3 for a fusion camera for personal use

Hi all

I'd love some advice here. I'm an amateur photographer with plenty of stills photography experience and a Canon 5D2 and Fuji X-Pro1. I take occasional videos of my kids using a camcorder. But I'm looking for a one camera solution - I only want to carry around 1 device.

From what I've been reading, the GH3 and EM-5 make the best "fusion" cameras. Able to switch easily between taking stills and taking video.

Could you please help me add to the list of advantages for each camera.

EM-5 Advantages

GH3 Advantages

Much better codec and overall video quality (if you can keep it still)

If you have experience, what do you think of the Nex series for amatuer fusion photography? Or does the RX100 fit my bill?

Canon EOS 5D Mark II Fujifilm X-Pro1 Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH3 Sony RX100
