I don't want IXUS...

But mirrorless digital age camera designed as pure utilitarian tool with ergonomical grip and full controls with proper positioning fitting to hand like glove and not like some piece of wooden plank. And of course it should be usable with gloves in hands. Anyone disagreeing is welcome to visit Finland to try using those tiny cramped buttons and capacitive touchscreen when temperature along with wind exposes fingers to frostbite in no time.

After small eternity for digital tech Panasonic GH3 is first mirrorless which actually challenges Minolta's best fixed lens prosumer from 2004 (basically ancestors of mirrorless "hybrids"/system) but unfortunately it lacks IBIS and Live Bulb.

Mirrorless enables flexibility inside one internally compatible system so why are you so obsessively against Olympus offering one high end Digital Single Lens Mirrorless body to challenge enthusiast DSLRs in ergonomics?

Would that higher end body make you feel threatened or do you want Canikon to continue their system camera market domination? Increasing market share of mirrorless 4/3 needs taking sales from Canikon DSLR systems whose domination of system camera markets is strong as ever.

Basing to CIPA statistics it's doubtfull that despite of all the hype about pocket PENs/E-M5 system camera market share of Olympus is higher than it was before they started killing 4/3 DSLRs. (mirrorless deliveries 18% of total this year and that's divided evenly between Oly, Pana and Sony and some going to rest)
