I want to take some night open shutter timed exposures but can't seem to find the setting to do this. Can anyone help me out ?

Check the user guide/manual...

If you look at page 123: 'Specifications - Shutter Speed' - there doesn't appear to be any 'B' (bulb) or 'T' (time) exposure option.

The best option for you is to use either 'S' or 'M' exposure modes, in which case you can select a shutter-exposure time of up to 8 seconds maximum (you could also use 'A' or 'P' mode, with less direct control of the shutter speed).

[Tip: Presumably you'll be using a tripod - so be sure to also use the '2 second self-timer' to minimise any vibration from pressing the shutter release.]
