Don't laugh - you may want to factor in another $400 for remapping hot/damaged/stuck pixels. 'Cause that's about what it has cost me for 4 bodies so far.

Regardless of Nikon's QC problems of late - you won't find me jumping ship for Canon, Sony or Pentax. Nikon will sort it out - I think a lot of it has had to do with the Sunami in Japan and the floods in Thailand. we need to cut them some slack.


I was just about to ask people who have been at it for a while, has this been a problem with all Nikon DSLRs or just the recent ones (D7000, D600...)?
