And yes developing from raw is key. At this point, I see no real life advantage to going to the mirrorless cameras. I found that many of them, including the Panasonic mirrorless in particular -were very similar noise levels as the G series cameras. Plus banding was and is a serious issue with Panasonic cameras.

Yes you can see.... on screen... what I call a slight advantage with the Oly and Samsung mirrorless, but it's not all that much. Sony's mirrorless are the best in the IQ/noise section with the 16mp APS-C models. At that point the jump is probably worthwhile.

But I mean really, what a performance from such a small sensor. This is why I continue to love the recent 1 1/7" sized sensors that originally started in the Ricoh GRD III. Canon then used that sensor for the G11 and 12, and Ricoh for the GRD IV.

You can bet as soon as the G15 is supported by ACR in Elements 10, I'll be getting one too.
