Virtually all of the consumer telephoto zooms exhibit the exact same behavior, which is, they are decent at the short end of the zoom, but lose resolution as you get to the long end.  None of them are stellar at the long end.

With this in mind, if you can deal with the loss of 10mm on the long end, there is a case to made for just shooting with the Panasonic 14-140 OIS.  You wouldn't need to change lenses much at all.

Of course, the Panasonic 45-200 that you go rid of, or the Pany 100-300 would make sense (depending  on your needs) for the extra reach.  But with the added reach there are more compromises.  But the MTF tests of these two lenses don't show significantly worse performance than the shorter zooms like the 40-150.  (Not worse and not better).

The premier telephoto is the 35-100 2.8 (expensive, but seems like a very good lens) and it's going to be interesting to see how it does with TCs.
