Hi no worries...a note on your post though. When the camera front focuses u use + adjustment which means that u manually push the focus point away from the camera. Likewise when your camera back focuses u use - to bring the focus towards your camera. So it's backwards to what u said

i actually had my issue escalated with nikon in Toronto and they basically said that if u can fix the focusing with +/- 20 then it is within their range!!!!!!

it may be true for lower resolution camers but with the high res cameras the -/+ 20 is such a huge range that makes the auto focus unacceptable!  Tinkling should really consider the reality of their new technologies and how to appropriately adjust for the specific situations...meaning that for a camera like d800E anything more than +/-5 should not be acceptable!!
