My brutally honest review of every compact camera released to date.

They suck. For me. Interchangeable or otherwise. For a variety of reasons. For me, stepping down to an APS-C or smaller sensor ain't never going to happen. But isn't that what most reviews are - personal opinion?

Sony got close with the RX1 but a fixed prime lens @35mm is too restrictive. I'd rather see a 24mm lens and crop it to taste than have to shoot two images and stitch. A zoom covering at least 28mm to 50mm would be better but probably wouldn't work on a FF sensor that is supposed to be in a compact package.

By the way, I like this reviewer.

Nice to see someone being honest about this camera. It's a flop, and I can't figure out how Canon justified releasing it. Awesome video, though.
