Remember that Jon manufcatures his own inks, they are backward engineered, but by law he can't reproduce the chemistries exactly. This is why the 3rd party ink guys can get away with selling the inks for the Epson, and others without getting into legal troubles.

Yes Bob, I realize that.  However, somewhat like the use of Photoshop -- there are more than one way to accomplish the end result and many times the results of different methods (and formulations) can not be readily identified or recognized.  Then, who can qualify with certainty that the NON OEM inks are either better or worse than OEM inks.

Dye inks are somewhat less expensive than Pigment inks, however; for my usage I prefer the Pigment inks.
