Olympus OM-De-M5 and Olympus E AF 14-150MFT lens f 4-5.6

Can anyone help me please?

I am looking to purchase this camera and would like to have only one lens as the camera would be used mainly for travel photos, gardens and flowers. My present camera is a Sony DSC TX7 which does not have the capability to take full views of churches in small(ish)locations or the full insides of churches and their ceilings ( which may be darkened),or castles set on hilltops in the distance.Get the picture?  (Sorry about the pun.)

It has been suggested to me that this lens would cover all bases for me in my situation.

I know little about photography--Has anyone used this lens and camera combination ? Does it work well over all distances within the range and in all lights?  Any advice on this lens with this camera, will be gratefully accepted.

Many thanks.

Derek.
