Viewfinder for precise framing and tracking action

I bought the Panasonic Lumix gx1... Is it worth the money for the Dmw-lvf 2 viewfinder? bob

Depends on your shooting style. I've been using the older LVF1 on my LX5. Main advantage is quickness and accuracy of framing. When I'm trying to shoot moving subjects, I can track the action much better with my eye to the viewfinder rather than waving the camera at arm's length in front of me. Handy for street shooting. I also use it for shooting landscapes when I want to compose with extreme precision and when bright sunlight makes it hard to see the display screen. The LVF1 is pretty grainy. I'm looking forward to getting the LVF2 for my new LX7.
