What price drop? Please show evidence

- at least where I live the D600 has seen no price drop whatsoever.
Unless of course one were to compare (a) list price with market price as the latter always falls a bit below list, or (b) price at launch when some resellers attempt to milk the market

- you claim that "the D600 is selling well" but obviously you cannot have any data as Nikon isn't sharing this.
Sure Amazon provides a bestseller list, but that list has little meaning as it is based on hourly sales not on any kind of long-term average.  In any case on that list and for the past hour, we have:  1.Canon T3i, 2.Canon T3, 3.Canon T4i w 18-135mm,  4.Nikon D3100 w kit lens, 5.Nikon 5100 with kit lens, 6.Nikon 3200 w kit lens,  6.Nikon 3200 w kit lens,  7.Canon T4i w 18-55mm,  8.Canon T3i double-zoom kit,  9.Nikon 32000 18-55m in red,  10.Nikon D7000 body.

The D600 is 19th on that list with the Canon 5D3 20th w the 24-105mm kit and 24th body only, so the Canon 5D3 seems to be selling the best among recent FX cameras.

Bottom-line:  either quote precise sources - or abstain from spreading rumours based on nothing tangible.
