The manually entered values (in pixels) define the largest allowed image size, but images can actually be smaller than that, just as it is defined now. There are other urgently needed changes, such as removal of anonymization code, so that Hosts can control the voters' behavior... and several other things that have all been discussed before.

Yeah, things that can be checked (and controlled) automatically should be part of the submission phase for each entrant. Strictly speaking of the creation screen, as we are, this is a good start but as you note, some other tools should be put in place for "behind-the-scenes" control by the hosts.
