Low light AF-Assist focussing challenge!
The SC29 in the hot shoe and my SB800 on the bracket. On the SB800 menu the option for "FIRE" is turned OFF, the option for AF light is "ON".
The AF light in the hot shoe comes on when needed without the Speedlight firing.
I am sure that the other Nikon Speedlights have a similar option.
