DK-17M and Hoodeye

However, with the D800E I decided to try the HoodEye. I like it better because it doesn't roll back the way the DK-19 does. Also, it blocks the light more effectively because it is a better fit to my eye. The downside is that you have to turn it for portrait orientation.

With the DK-17M you have to remove the rubber eye cup from the metal and glass eyepiece that comes with the HoodEye. Stretch the rubber over the DK-17M (it is a tight fit) and screw the DK-17M onto the camera.
