OM-D E-M5 worth it for someone who has an E-5?

Re: it's the glass

Thanks, I think this clarifies very much what I should be doing.

If I want to continue with the m4/3, I have to invest in the 12-35.  This will give me a comparable lens to my 14-54.  My 14-54 is exceptionally good; it is better than my 12-60, which I sold (heavier, and ever so slightly worse at comparable focal lengths, and f/4 instead of f/3.5 at long end).

If that turns out to be a good lens, then I will consider the OM-D.

Some people suggest using my 14-54 with adapter on my E-PL2 (or OM-D).  But the whole thing is quite heavy and unwieldy, focusing is very slow (my 14-54 is type I), and... at that point, for the 300g or so remaining difference, I prefer to use the E-5 directly.

Many thanks, this was quite informative.
