Hi,  The small size is terrific. I like that. Cameras this small normally wouldn't have a viewfinder. Sure the new G15 has a crappy built-in one but for me there is no way that out weighs the larger RX100 sensor.  Sensor size matters. The RX100 is a small point and shoot with a relatively large sensor.

I can almost hear the replies.."if sensor size matters why not get a G1X?" etc. The answer is simply..I DO have a G1X but it is much larger. There are times only a small camera will do.

The screen on the RX100 is great.

The RX100 packs a lot into a small camera. I had both the Canon S90 and 95 and the RX100 is a huge upgrade.

Good luck in your camera choices.
