D800e and 28-300 VR lens - Grey Cup Pep Rally
Lots of different occasions to work D800e to its limits with recent Grey Cup events in Toronto. The pep rally was held at night with predominant blue lighting along with stage lights and ambient square mixed light.
The 28-300 VR was the chosen lens for its flexibility in FL in extremely crowded square. What strikes me most in this series is the vibrancy of color along with the sharpness and cropability (really needed in crowd scenes even at 300mm).
BTW, the 100th Grey Cup Festival is a week of Canadian football fun and madness culminating in the game matching the Toronto Argonauts against the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League on November 25th, 2012.
The trophy on display is the trophy for the Argonauts as winner of the Eastern Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL) and in French Ligue canadienne de football (LCF).
Comments and or critique welcome!
