Have to say, the 28-75mm is/was just as good on my D800, as it was on my D700 bodies.

Great value lens which is very light and handy - the polar opposite of the both the Nikon and Tamron 24-70mm lenses.

I remember back in the day when I first started using it on my D700 - I dubbed it the "creative catalyst" as it made the camera so much more user friendly and applicable by not killing my neck as the Nikon 24-70mm did.

All shots I have online  done with the 28-75mm, but across different camera bodies.
