Not that I've done huge amounts of HDR capture but the D600's 3 brackets, at 1.5/2EV apart should be fine, the RAW's dynamic range of the d600/d800 at low ISO is very impressive.

Photomatix aligns the images without incident... as does other HDR software I suspect.

In a way, I think a 3-shot +-2EV burst is better for handheld HDR.
