Hey everyone, ran into a situation not too long ago and made a little video about it. I was at a friend's place and noticed a pretty neat bottle of Scotch sealed in a glass container. They told me the story behind it and asked me to take a picture of it for them. Well, I only had my camera with my 50mm F1.7 attached and no flashes or any other gear...so I improvised, I had someone hold a flashlight (far enough off frame) to backlight the bottle, and another person in the background (roughly 20ft away) holding up white christmas lights for some interesting Bokeh. The results I thought were pretty good, and did the finishing touches in LR4. I would have preferred to pop out a product box and light gear, but I was pretty happy with the end results with the little bit I had...video is below, I show before/after and thought process...
