My very good support from Epson Support.
I realize we usually hear of more bad support than good, be it Epson or any other co.
Today I had to replace an ink cartridge in my 3800 printer. I replaced it and got error code 1404.
I checked the manual and the net and problem is usually a defective cartridge.
I called Epson and explained problem and he asked for s/n and my name. He asked for the code on the cartridge and said he would send one out and I should have it in 3 or 4 days. My hold time was less than 30 seconds.
I have had the printer since they first were released and this is my first bad cartridge.
While I am "on a roll" I might call M/S and see if they will fix Win8 where we can use it on a desktop. I do think I would be pushing my luck. Bet I have my cartridge before Win8 is fixed.
