Yup. That's me. I live on the edge, and I push my files to the limit....

Another thing usually ignored/forgotten by too many folks, is the need to crop and/or print large.  A major point for getting a high resolution sensor is to greatly increase your ability to crop and/or print large.  If I crop 8mp off of a 24mp sensor, I expect that crop to look at least as good as what I can get from a 16mp camera.  If I can't do that, the value of the higher MP sensor is significantly reduced.
