I suspect the D800 may be different in regards to sharpening, but my settings in LR for my D800e are the same as Robin's, except:

Camera Neutral

clarity +10

vibrance +10

shadows -10

lens profile on

correct CA on

Rarely need to do much else, except maybe pull down highlights in wide range shots.

I find that LR does an absolutely beautiful, unartifacted raw conversion. One stop shopping at last!

I think the Camera Neutral profile explains why you would increase vibrance.

I often change the Black point and White point to compensate for the dynamic range of the scene lighting.

Lens profile and CA correction are defaulted off because I often use a 60mm Micro that doesn't need them, or a lens not in the database. I turn them on for the 17-35mm, 24-70mm, and 70-200mm VRI.
