A camera that takes better shots than an old A510? The 110hs doesn't.

So, what is your opinion of the lens-error challenged s100, assuming Sony continues its usual business mode? Bigger sensor, albeit only slightly bigger, lower mp...any noticeable

I still think it's one of the best cameras out there, considering it's size. I use mine almost every day.

Personally, I've never had an interest in the Sony rx100 though I know it's just about the best small compact out there for low light. But, for the vast majority of my needs, the S100 does fine in low light. I prefer it's size and it's 24-120mm equiv zoom range compared to the Sony's 28-100mm.

I have some photos taken with the s100 in my pbase gallery if you care to take a look: inside low light, outside, close-ups, etc.

I owned the Canon A510, and several others (A590, SD700, SD890), all fine cameras in daylight. But none could match the low light performance of the S100.
