SX50 or S110 for timelapse, movies and long exposures

Hi,

I want a compact camera for timelapse shots, long exposures and movies.

Low-light handling, low image noise and long exposures are very important.

How would the SX50 and S110 compare under that criteria? Which one has better IQ, if we ignore the zoom?
Feel free to suggest other Canon cameras that might fit my criteria better.

Thanks!

(I realize both don't allow more than 15sec of long exposure, however this can be circumvented via CHDK. CHDK is not yet available for S110 but that's only a matter of time. )

Canon PowerShot S110
