Colormunki Photo working with Windows 8 Pro?

both of you updated to WIN 8, so did that include a new PRO9000 driver?  I haven't updated and still using the my old PRO9000 driver with Win 7, 64 bit from a long time ago. So I would say that eliminates any new driver that Canon could be using to kill of reset chips.

I also run CLI-8 carts in my IP4300 and haven't seen any die yet.  I'm going to keep two new sets of carts for each printer and not switch them between the printers, reset all 4 sets same number of times when I replace one set in a printer (I replace all carts of a set if one goes empty) just to see if the PRO9000 is helping to kill the chips in anyway.
