Yes, see groups A and B on pages 76 and 77 of the 1Dx manual.

The EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens has 1 Dual cross-type AF point.

The EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II lens has 5 Dual cross-type AF point.

The EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II lens with the 4 extra dual cross-type AF points will provide improved accuracy on Canon EF mount cameras.
