I know what you mean. I would love to think that the Fuji will ever be even close to the Nikon DSLR in shooting sports. Unfortunately, I am not holding my breath. I love the Fuji, it is just not perfect for everything.

Those are serious waves! I lived in Kobe for three years and surfed in Shikoku quite often. This brings back some great memories.

I'm still finding it difficult to use the XPro-1 with any none Fujinon lenses attached. But, luckily I was able to catch a few images of my friend in Japan as he went surfing today in the considerable surf.. Can't wait for that long reach Fujinon zoom to be release and I'm sure my hit rate will improve.

As much as I love this XPro-1, today I would have been much better served with my trusty old Nikon D300 I think..
