Well, we all react differently to a scene, but I see the following in the posted photo:  fallen leaves, bare limbed trees, an old weather beaten church, and long forgotten headstones, all bathed in the soft sunshine of  a cold, late afternoon Autumn day.  This combination suggests death to me, as something inevitable but not to be feared, and that's why I took the shot.
