First let me preface my response by saying the FZ line of cameras has been one of the best and most successful in the bridge camera market. Now to your samples. The Pany shot is taken at ISO100 and the Nikon at ISO400. The Nikon has no problem with ISO400 but you forced the shot to be taken at f16 which is not the sweet spot for that lens and the lens is not the equal of the Leica branded lens on the Pany. Then there are the subjects; you could not have picked two more different images if you tried. If you are really trying to compare the IQ of the two cameras, you need to shoot the same subject at the same time with as close to the same settings as possible. Both of your cameras are very, very good and I would be happy to own either of them.
