There are implementations for PC's, Mac, and most smartphones too. Even printed tables for the technically adverse It's an essential tool for this type of photography.

To get the flower in focus and the background OOF, f2 or f2.8 should be much better, f8 or f11 will bring the background in to focus too much.

Your options to blur the background are to increase the distance between the subject and background, and or get closer to the subject.
