It's a tight twist, as is the Panasonic 20mm lens I've had for a while. It's been discussed before, and there's been no reports of issues arising from it.

Have it weared in over time and become loosened? thanks.

It may have to some degree (I'm not sure it's that, or I'm just used to it). The tight fit lenses are still a tighter fit than all the others (after 2-3 years). Some adapters and lenses that are looser have rotational play (where the tight ones don't). I only think about it when it's raised in discussions like this one. These differences in fit tolerances are of little significance and concern.

"of little significance and concern"

suppose say I am going out to shoot a little film with my new GH3 in the near future consists merely 30 shots, use only two lens 12 f2 and Canon 50 f1.8, half the shots with 12 f2. In most extreme case I will be mounting and dismounting 12f 2 for 15 times. (The shots must be taken in sequence for video production of course). That comes to 15 mount +15 dismount =30 time struggles for every small video shoot out, if this is true would you still think it is of little concern in this case? I will not be taking two cameras body with me for a while. thanks.

All I can relate is in over 2 years with quite a few lenses, I've used the 20/1.7 a lot, and changed lenses more than a few times.    In addition, I've been following user experiences here just about daily.   There's usually one odd report about something most don't encounter issues with.

The most negative report on the tightness has been only about concerns - there's been no evidence I've read of which would suggest there is a reason to worry.   And my own experience supports that.

The concern with alarm usually comes from those that don't have a lot of experience with interchangeable lenses.
