Re: Old lenses on new bodies - re build quality agreed

I have a few of these older lenses. They are fantastic.

55mm F2.8 Micro - fantastic closeup portrait lens and so so sharp.

50mm F1.8d  very good but not as good as 50m F1.8g (latest).

105mm F2.5 AI - really really sharp and lovely bokeh - a classic portrait lens.

180mm F2.8ED has AF and is very sharp, slight CA.

70-210 AF, very useful and quite sharp especially at 210mm. All were very cheap except 180mm

($450) the rest were mostly under $100 -150 and are terrific value, all metal bodies.

Greg.
