There is no link between big RAW files and professional! my best selling picture is made with a "coolpix" camera from the early days.

I think I was agreeing with you. Gotta keep moving, gotta make money. My customers aren't picky anyway, bla, bla, bla...

It doesn't change the fact that Raw is the better workflow if you care about quality.

Cheers,

Do you mean .raw VS .jpeg?

If the exposure was on top, it's like a myth.

Better than what? For telling it's better, you must compare the two, so...

Do this experience:

  • Shoot .raw+.jpeg not without previously carefully setup your camera on site (with perfect WB and ETTR for an optimal exposure using all DR)
  • Keep later the raw and apply same settings you was applied in-camera to the .jpeg, with IDC in your PP workflow.

So what's happen? Not better, not worst, almost exactly the same!

Because most of the time when working with .raw you would more destroy datas than you can enhance them (for experienced people too)..

Kind Regards,
