My feelings as well, after two-tree months use. At first I thought it was great, but I get more disappointed as time goes and I've been able to compare with other lenses. I guess that as soon I get a 9-18 or 7-14 I won't use the 12-50 much any more.

But if you don't intend to buy more lenses for a while, I still think it can be a good choice. The 12-50 is not a bad lens, the probblem is that there are some better lenses...
