The future of the 6D line

5D3 vs D800

This is the battleground I am worried about. It's where most local, self-employed professionals and advanced non-professionals will end up and where most of the "switching" will occur. These cameras are suited for different types of photography. I'm worried because Nikon has the leg-up on studio, archetecture and landscape applications and Canon seems content to let Nikon have this market.

The D4/1D X and D600/6D matchups seem more head to head and will generally retain loyal brand customers.
